Handel’s London: Chamber music by the Master & his contemporaries – March 22 & 23, 2025

With its thriving music scene, 18th-century London was a haven for native and foreign-born musicians. Handel, however, was the undisputed genius, respected by friend and foe alike. Our program of solo pieces, trio sonatas, concertos, and overtures, recreates a salon in the age of Handel and the first three King Georges. Music by Handel, Thomas Arne, James Oswald, Johann Christoph Pepusch, Elizabetta de Gambarini, Michael Christian Festing, and William Corbett.
