Daniel Boring performs frequently as soloist, chamber musician, and founding member of Due Colori, a soprano/guitar-lute touring duo, with soprano Megan Monaghan. He has performed throughout the United States, Europe, Mexico and Cuba. In the Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey areas, Daniel performs with several period instrument ensembles as continuo player and soloist. He also has performed as lutenist and guitarist with Pittsburgh Opera, Ithaca Opera, Susquehanna Opera, Teatro Grattacielo and Glimmerglass Opera, as well as serving as musical director of Purcell’s “Dido and Aeneas” and Blow’s “Venus and Adonis” with Muhlenberg Opera. Daniel is on the string faculties of Rowan University, Muhlenberg College, and Montgomery County Community College. His various duties include directing the Chamber Orchestra, teaching Music Appreciation, and serving as instructor of Classical Guitar, Lute, and Historical Instruments.
